Chippity Chippers

2/1/4 cups cake flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 sticks unsalted butter
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon honey
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
6 ounces milk chocolate chips
6 ounces white chocolate chips
3 ounces peanut butter chips

preheat oven to 325 degrees

In a medium bowl, combine flour. baking soda and salt

In another bowl, cream the butter, sugars and honey. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Stir in the four mixture and all of the chips just until blended.

Drop the dough by rounded tablespoons 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.


Meatballs

3/4 C Soy Sauce
3/4 C water
2 small garlic cloves, mashed
2 tsp ground ginger
3 lbs ground round steak

In large bowl, combine all ingredients execpt meat and mix well. Add meat and blend lightly, but thoroughly. Lift out spoonfuls and lightly form into balls with your hands. ( about 1 " in diameter) cover with saran wrap & refrigerate. Arrange a single layer in large baking pan & bake uncovered in slow oven ( 275') for about 15 minutes. turn over once during baking time. Serve hot. Makes approx 100 small bite size balls.


4 Bean Bake

1-16oz can Kidney Beans ( drained)
1-16 oz Green Lima Beans ( drained)
1-16 oz can Butter Beans (drained)
1-16 oz can Pork & Beans (do not drain)
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 medium onion, chopped
3 Tbsps vinegar
1 tsp dry mustard
1 cup lean bacon cubed (about 6 slices)

Combine all ingredients & place in heavy covered casserole dish. Bake 1 hour at 350, uncover and bake half hour longer.

Impress your friends with a delicious, easy appetizer.

Place a block of Philadelphia cream cheese on a plate.
Spoon a small jar of caviar* over the top of the cream cheese.
Let your guests spread the caviar/cream cheese onto Carr’s water crackers.
Enjoy with champagne in disposable plastic flutes.

*Small jars of Lumpfish caviar can be purchased for about $5.00 in most grocery stores.
